On 2010-04-04 I got an email from Google informing me that Google my account (Gmail, GReader, GCalender etc;) has been suspended and that my blog fatriffs.blogspot.com has been deleted due to content violations.  My blog had been flagged as SPAM by the Google Bot.  SPAM my ass.  Sure I had a maybe 100+ links to other sites, mainly eMusic.com and Amazon.com but my blog was in no way possible a Spam Blog.   The more annoying part is that I had to reactivate my Gmail account and then submit an appeal to get my Blog reinstated.

So I’ve decided to set up a new blog on my gotfoo.org domain.

So now that you’ve downloaded a “listening” copy of some righteously awesome music from some random blog you are left with 3 choices: delete the music within 24 hours, purchase the music or say FTW I’m keepin’ it.

If you want to purchase the music I can help.  90% of the music I blurb about can be found at eMusic or Amazon.com and since most of the music is from unknow/underground bands and labels you most likely won’t find it at iTunes or in your local record shop.  To help you “do the right thing” I have provided a link to the album to either eMusic or Amazon if you choose to make a purchase.  And yes I will make a commission but so far I haven’t made squat (it’s been 4 months).

I do try to support my local record shops but times are tough and money is tight.
